Kirkwood Presbyterian Church

Worhsip...It can change your life!

Sunday Service:

9:00 am Sunday School

10:00 am Worship

"At Kirkwood, we believe we were created for God's pleasure". In worship we gather as a community of faith to hear God’s Word, experience His presence and respond to God's call to active service in our world. Our church celebrates the strength of “blended” worship. We have a fine tradition of participation of members through music, dance, drama and liturgy.  During the school year, our Children’s Choir, Kids of the Kingdom, sings each first Sunday of the month!

We invite you to join us on Sunday at 10 am for Worship.  Each month, the first Sunday of the month is our “Come As You Are (Casual Dress)” Sunday, and we join in fellowship after Worship to share in a Pot Luck Lunch - all are welcome!  The second Sunday of each month, and at other appropriate times each year, we celebrate Holy Communion. The Presbyterian Church joyfully welcomes all who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the Lord’s Table.  In addition, we observe many other special services throughout the year, such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, and occasional services of prayer for healing and wholeness. Christmas and Eater feature special choral and dramatic performances.

Music Ministry

The Chancel Choir (adults and youth) sings most Sundays and rehearses on Thursday evenings. The choir is led by K'elly Thompson and accompanied by Silas Daniel. Please join in with this fun, energetic collection of singers. Their faith is contagious and comes through in their music. You don't have to read music or win American Idol to join the choir - just try it out and see how fun it is to "make a joyful noise!"
